Azan In A Church.

This won’t happen in Malaysia. We don’t call people to prayer in churches. We just burn churches. Shame on us.

Wow… the acoustics of the church really amplifies the beauty in that call. Very emotive. (Somehow I keep thinking of the difference of this and the overly-loud/rough/cackle sort that some local mosques blare out.)

Maybe those fellas that burned the church forgot the bit about not attacking places where God’s name is glorified.

  • Hearing that wonderful call to prayer in a church makes one realize what the Christian church has lost – didn’t hear any of those christian prelates giving voice – but couple of centuries ago they could produce the same uplifting magic.

where do I find your reviews?? looking for modern Malaysia writing…from a far distant windswept isle of Man -!
